With a sports-car worthy 0.27 Coefficient of Drag, Camry Hybrid also distinguishes itself with a dynamic Front Grille augmented with Metal Plating. Add unique Headlamps, now standard Power Moonroof, and a Hybrid Synergy Drive Emblem, and Camry Hybrid delivers it all.

Interior

Camry Hybrid offers virtually all the amenities of its stable mates, now including standard Dual Illuminated Vanity Mirrors and Rear Reading Lamps. Then adds a few innovations of its own, including: Energy Flow Display, Instantaneous Fuel Economy Meter, Sound-Dampening Windshield, Electric Power Steering and an Electric Air Conditioner that functions even when the engine is turned off. Engine

At the heart of Camry Hybrid is Toyota's world-renowned Hybrid Synergy Drive. Hybrid Synergy Drive blends two sources of power - a 147 Horsepower Atkinson-cycle 4-cylinder Engine and a High-Efficiency Electric Motor. Together, they deliver the equivalent of 187 Horsepower. Equally impressive, Camry Hybrid offers excellent fuel economy with a 5.7L/100 km rating, and meets some of the most stringent emissions standards in the world for a Tier 2 Bin 3 rating. Power and fuel economy together at last.

Handling

Featuring a Gated-shift 5-position Shifter, Camry Hybrid uses a highly advanced Continuously Variable Transmission [CVT] that blends the power from engine and motor for surprisingly fast acceleration and breathtaking performance at speed. Coupled with Rack and Pinion Electric Power Steering - which alters the sense of steering 'feel' based on speed and load - Camry Hybrid puts the driver in almost intuitive control of the vehicle.

Safety

Camry Hybrid boasts all of the safety features found on other Camry models - from the fully reinforced Impact Absorbing Body structure to the seven standard Airbags. To this, Camry Hybrid adds one more innovation - Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management [VDIM].
